Relocation Relocation!

As some of you will know, I am relocating.

This means that I will be leaving my lovely pad that is oh so conveniently on Tottenham Court Road, and will be moving to the dirty south.

So I've been saying farewell to my most favourite restaurants located just a stone throw away from me.

No more spontaneous midnight trysts down to Chinatown just because I am craving some beef ho fun, and bubble tea.

No, I am going to have to 'plan' said excursions to my old hunting ground.

Oh I will miss you.

So very much.

Eat Tokyo - Charing Cross - London

After gorging myself to death in Marrakesh on tagines, I swore if I saw another one I was going to go break something.

I needed another cuisine, you know something more close to home.

Besides after a holiday, it is almost certain that I was going to have absolutely no food except for that dusty old pot of ramen noodles in my cupboard, so locating a delicious yet cheap restaurant is a must.

It's time to whip out another one of my emergency local cheap-eats.

Where I stayed in Marrakesh Part 2

Forget booking that hotel, when you're visiting Marrakesh to really experience the culture you have to stay in a Riad, which is a traditional Moroccan house with an interior garden or courtyard.

There are over 700 Riads in Marrakesh, so plenty of choice! My advice is to book directly through the Riad, I made the mistake of not doing this and was charged a wee bit more than I should have been.
