The Bell Pool Villa - Phuket - Thailand

There's just something spiritual about Phuket.

Since I started studying & working in London, I noticed that Londoner's have a real problem with impatience and are constantly rushing around. Myself included. Every second counts.

So, when I finally found the time to just pack up my things and fly half way across the world.

I turned off my phone, deactivated my emails and totally disconnected from everything.

That feeling of being isolated. Completely unreachable. It was paradise.

We arrived past midnight, and our driver confidently yet furiously navigated his way around the winding mountain roads. Soon we arrived at the gates of our private villa.

Our butler was already waiting for us to arrive and swiftly ushered us into the villa.

I booked a private villa at The Bell Pool Villa Resort in the more quieter part of Phuket - Kamala.

Nothing says escape like your own private villa with your own infinity pool.

I woke up everyday with breakfast already perfectly laid out in the lounge with this view.

You were expecting a Thai breakfast, weren't you.

Oops.. let's just say their Eggs Benedict was a little better, with an assortment of pastries, fresh juices and fruit.

Every morning, I would jump into the pool, splash around and do absolutely nothing.

With each villa, you have your very own personal butler which you can call on the private mobile you're given. From booking in personal masseuses to being chauffeured to the beach. Your wish is their command.

The evening is when the villa really comes alive.

You can have private in-villa BBQ's, or have cooking lessons in house, even hot oil massages and mani/pedis.

Every evening, the entire complex is smoked with lemongrass to scare away the mosquitos.

So you can lounge around outside, and go for that midnight swim without fear of being eaten alive.

With everything at your fingertips, it's difficult to find a reason to leave.

Or you can wander to the bar ;]

We found a tiny family run restaurant just 5mins drive away from the villa.

It was so authentic, it was like eating in a thai family household. The owner's children would run around the tables and do their homework in the corner.

Young Papaya Salad
 Grilled Chilli King Prawns
 Seafood Tom Yum Soup
 Thai Fish Red Curry
 Vegetarian Pad Thai

Could you believe that all that food cost less than £15?

And yes, it was as glorious as it looks.

This was my home for a week, and I did not want to leave.

All the staff at The Bell Pool Villa are all incredibly friendly, accommodating, nothing was too much.

It's also worth noting that booking a 6 person villa worked out to be ALOT cheaper than booking hotels in the same area. Just sayin' ;]

I would definitely return to this villa, the next time I'm in Phuket.

Wouldn't you?

Wow! The hotel and food look amazing. I have family in Bali and it is quite similar out there. It is amazing the quality of food you can get for such a cheap price. x
